Songbird Blonde 5% Soft gold in color with an eggshell white top of foam and a bready enticing malt aroma. Medium bodied it has a fairly smooth soft round carbonation. The taste is crisp bready malt with herbal hop notes, very crisp and well done.

Keyaki. Very nice. Dry, grainy, bit of yoghurt, Belgian yeastiness. Bit saison like. My first beer by then and I like it a lot.

Light body, light dried apricot, low bitterness very smooth, but fairly boring.

Bottle @ Pigalle. Pours clear golden, white top. Nose has some light Belgian yeast character, hop freshness and light malts. Tastes clean, Belgian yeast there but not overpowering, medium hoppiness, fresh and easily drinkable belgian ale. Tasty and simple one, have had it on several occasions.

Keyaki Fall 2015. Clear golden color with a nice soapy white head. Aromas of lemon, grass, pepper and crackers. Very nice carbonation and light spiciness. I don’t really like a lot of blondes, but I thought this was very well done with a little interesting Belgian funky yeast component. --- Beer merged from original tick of Blonde on 21 Sep 2015 at 16:15 - Score: 7

Tap. Fruity nose, lightly spicy from the Belgian yeast, lemon and biscuits. Sweet, fruity, almost dries out in the finish but doesn’t get get there. Soft, silky body. A good start from this new brewery. Slightly more hop definition and attenuation and this would be great.
