Bottle from the brewer. 2012 barrel ages. Nice sour nose, cherry, yogurt, apple vinegar, caramel, vanilla, wine, wood. Cloudy reddish-brown, lace. Flavors of chocolate, cherry, vinegar, yogurt. Sweet then sour, though no huge sourness. Almost flat, could use a bit more carbonation to make it feel less heavy.

A reddish brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, a classic sour oud bruin with dark fruits, Brett, sour cherries and wood barrel. In mouth, a smooth corky sour ale with cherries, Brett notes, oily mouthfeel, missing some acidity. Bottle at Mondial, May 31, 2013.
