Keyaki. Nice. Earthy hoppiness, bitter, light citrus, floral, good bitterness. Interesting.

Draft at 2014 Fall Keyaki. Hazy golden yellow with a thin eggshell colored head. Big aromas of pine needles, resin and floral hops. Light-bodied and bitter on the palate. Watery texture a nice crisp and clean bitter finish. Y Market is in my top 5 in Japan as of fall 2014. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cascadear on 07 May 2015 at 19:34 - Score: 7

Tap at Komachi. Very cloudy, bright pastel yellow with a thick, rocky head. Huge lemony nose, some pine, almost lemon Pine-sol. Lovely cracker and lemon flavor, grassy, great citrus. lovely.

4.5% a very cloudy straw gold with a thin filmy white head. On tap at Tadg’s I like their new glasses better than their old tumbler type glasses. Wonderful juicy cascade grapefruit & pine hop bouquet. Smooth mouthfeel silky but the body is somewhat thin which is common with session IPAs. Nice clean bitter flavor, very green, pine and strangely almost a licorice or aniseed character to it. Quite nice.
