I had this on tap at Coho’s Bar and Grill in Juneau, AK.
This was poured into a pokal.
The appearance was a nice looking golden orange color with a slim finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated within about a good thirty seconds. Barely any lacing stuck or even showed.
The smell had a sweet grassy blend of pilsner malts and sticky sweet honey.
The taste took those flavors and combined to touch my taste buds gracefully. A light sweet grassy aftertaste accompanies the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a good sessionability about it.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good German pilsener that I would have again.

330ml bottle into glass. Fresh grassy malty sweet nose. Really nice. looks a bit insipid, pale yellow with sudsy but enduring head.light sweetness, soft carbonation, citrusy hoppy finish. Very pleasant.

I was about to leave this restaurant and head to a real beer bar but bartender messed up and asked if I wanted a free beer well of course I do and shockingly I’ve never rated this. Standard gold pour with pillowy white head. Nose is grainy and light malt. Tastes of grains, corn, small malt, straw, and some flowers. Thin bitter palate.

500ml bottle: BBD 08/15, drank in my hotel room, Hamburg during 12/14. Pale golden, clear and bright: white fading head. Bog standard German Pilsner, corn in the nose, hoppy and dry in the taste. Refreshing enough but lacks character and anything to set it apart from so many others being brewed all over the world.

500 ml bottle. Pours a near transparent yellow color. Mild straw aroma. This beer is exactly what I was expecting it would be. Whether that’s the case or not, this is a good tasting, light beer. Enjoyable.

Classic German Pilsener with golden blonde colour and frothy, snow white head; delicate, gentle, clean, sweetish maltiness and grassy hops in the finish, but not very bitter. Typical representative of the southern German substyle.
