Tap at the brewery tasting room. Brown-orange with a fine head. Nice amber malt nose, chocolate, caramel, earth. Rich malt flavor, bready, some caramel, a bit of earthy hops. Good malt character.

A reddish amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, intense butterscotch and berries, rather cloying. In mouth, afain, weak and watery offering with sweetish malt and light fake maple extract, mineral notes. On tap at brewpub, July 30 2010.
