Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Large amount of pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a very nice single hop DIPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, peach, mango, pineapple, floral, grass, light pine, herbal, light honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, peach, mango, pineapple, floral, grass, light pine, herbal, light honey, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops with moderate malt balance; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent DIPA. All around great complexity of bright citrus/tropical hop flavors with moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- For my first Southern Tier, I enjoyed it quite a lot. Single hopped and nothing extra. Pretty tasty. Really excited to try some of their other stuff now.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Clear amber, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of pale grainy malt, herbal and piney hops and a hint of tropical fruit. The taste is herbal, piney hops, grapefruit, mango, pale grainy malt. Medium bodied, well balanced.

Bottle sample at Beer Run. Thanks Jay! Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a thin frothy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of pale malt, spicy, tropical hops. The taste is tropical, citrus hops, pale malt and a bit of caramel. Medium bodied, no booze, good balance. Exceeded my expectations.

Draught @ Albion. Hazy bright orange with medium sized creamy off-white head, faint citrus aroma, low carbnation, well balanced slightly hoppy malt taste, medium finish with little bitter aftertaste. Deceptively easy to drink, very good brew!

12 oz. bottle purchased at Prost Specialty Beer and Wine. 2015 Equinox hop variety. Clear gold color with lasting head in English pint glassware. Aroma is subtle fruits (grapefruit, mango) mild floral earthy hint.

The body is light and crisp and has a clean finish. The bitterness is not over the top for a DIPA. The ABV is completely hidden within a medium body. The fruit, floral and earth flavor is not in short supply but the overall feel of this beer subtle. The subtleness is what I enjoy most. I found this very enjoyable and now have a better understanding of the Equinox variety.

bottle - This hazy copper ale has a small off-white head. It smells of caramel malt and resinous hops. The flavor is moderately to strongly bitter with caramel, resin, and a touch of citrus. It’s medium bodied and very good.
