Tap at the Watering Hole. Dark brown with red hints, small golden creamy head. Aroma is dry, lightly fruity, plums and cherry maybe. Roasty malt too. Taste is fruity again, pretty nice, definitely cherry, slightly floral. Pretty good. Pretty smooth with slight spritziness.

lots of dark fruit and roasted malt character but body doesn’t hold the beer together that well and the end result is just average.

Tap at Keyaki. Nose of caramel, chocolate, soy. rich malty flavor, creamy and chocolatey with lots of umami and somewhat light body. Good.

On tap at Beer Keyaki Spring 2014. A dark black pour with ruby highlight. The nose is one of roasty malty grains - not bad. Medium to light bodied the taste is bitter dark malts, very roasty - some said even too roasty though most agreed it was a pretty good beer.
