Tap at Keyaki. All of these Keyaki ratings are a mess. Nice enough but everything you'd expect. Grainy and light fruit. Maybe not enough rye weirdness.

tons of rye. A bit sweet to start but leads into dry, austere notes. Not super balanced but nice

Bottle from Le petit L’ouest. Pours a clear gold with a medium-sized head that dissipates fairly quickly but leaves a small rim around the edge of the glass. Nice saison nose with some lemon, pepper and pear on the nose. Medium to light body with average carbonation. Peppery flavor but as it warms it gets quite sweet. A little too sweet for me in a saison. Pepper on the finish which I can’t tell if the pepper is from the rye or the yeast. Not bad I guess. --- Beer merged from original tick of Saison de Seigle (Rye Saison) on 13 Aug 2015 at 23:58 - Score: 6

Tap at Keg, Nagoya. Almost Clear golden color, small white head. Fruity, saison spicey, almost a bit glueish aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Very "Saison spicey", fruity flavor. Not much rye in the flavor but nice beer.

Tap at Keyaki. Blonde with lace. Malty, fruity nose, a bit of vinegar, rye. Malty, bready flavor, some rye. Decent saison.

On tap at Beer Keyaki. A bit of a cloudy gold pour with a thin filmy head. The aroma is spicy & nice , more weizen than saison but tasty. This rye saison was light & refreshing. Good.
