Tap at Keyaki. All of these Keyaki ratings are a mess. Aroma is stinky hops, resin. Taste is sticky, bit of caramel, bitter. Good stuff. Citrus. Nice.

Tap at Watering Hole for the Y. Market tap-takeover event. Pours a clear, dark gold with a small off-white head. Big aromas of orange, pineapple, mango, pine resin and dankiness. Some light booze on the nose as well. Medium to soft carbonation with an oily, meidum body. Lots of juicy fruit on the palate with a bitter finish, but not overbearing. A bit boozy on the finish though. Still a solid imperial IPA for Japan. --- Beer merged from original tick of MARUHACHI IPA on 15 Nov 2015 at 19:03 - Score: 7

Tap at Keyaki. Great tropical fruit nose, durian, mango, citrus, a touch of caramel. Rather sweet and oily. Nicely done.

On tap at Beer Keyaki Spring 2014. A classy looking clear copper gold with a big hop forward fruity/floral nose. Medium to full bodied, very smooth with a silky mouthfeel. The taste is a good mix of bitter resinous hops & fruity/floral notes. A good double IPA!
