Glimmerglass - The name given to our lake by James Fenimore Cooper - is a beautiful body. Nested between gentle mountains, it reflects any object held up to it, just as it reflects our joy at the arrival of each spring. To help celebrate, pour new spring saison offers a perfect balance of maltiness and hops, with a touch of yeasty fruitiness and a whiff of pepper.

Bottle. Pours a hazy earthy gold with a fluffy white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of flora with some light fruits and a good amount of Belgian yeast. Flavor has lots of light fruit and flora supported by grass and Belgian yeast.

Bottle. Cloudy golden body with a huge, frothy, off-white head. Musty aroma with orange, spice, toasted grain. Notes of banana and lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. The finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. A bit sweet, overall and a bit heavy for a spring saison. But it avoids being overly spiced. And it’s enjoyable to drink.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy semi-burnt orange color with a slim to foamy white semi-film lacing after the head dissipated. That head, yeah, it was pretty big and foamy thick with a slight amount of bubbles inside of it.
The smell started off with white pepper and black pepper - light spice over slight breadiness. a sly amount of citrus - somewhat sweet - sly bitter, subtle grassiness.
The taste welcomed the previously mentioned flavors boldly with a crisp sweetness. Aftertaste is well combined with the sweet to spicy components sliding into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body. Nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides nice, and a good amount of harshness hits my tongue.
Overall, wonderful saison, of course I’d have this again.

hazy orange 2 finger yellowish head. smells really good. a strange spice like chamomile or aloe? maybe thyme as well? the spice dominates the flavor but it’s still a solid beer would have it again

Draft at Goodnight Irene’s in Wildwood, NJ. Pale yellow with very little head. Yeasty malt flavor. Citrusy with notes of coriander and white pepper. Some spicy hop bitterness in finish. Very refreshing.
