Glimmerglass - The name given to our lake by James Fenimore Cooper - is a beautiful body. Nested between gentle mountains, it reflects any object held up to it, just as it reflects our joy at the arrival of each spring. To help celebrate, pour new spring saison offers a perfect balance of maltiness and hops, with a touch of yeasty fruitiness and a whiff of pepper.

Bottle took several minutes to pour to shaker; Big, big frothy head. Heavy bubbling from carbonation. Light straw color. Smooth, simple palate. Pepper adds just enough spice to temper the banana. Mild yeasty fruit.

Bottle. Belgian yeast, banana-orange, bubblegum, and wheat aroma. Slightly hazed yellow with a ginormous white head. Slightly funky Belgian yeast, sweet fruity citrus, light spice, and grassy flavor. Light crisp body, lively carbonation. Very enjoyable.

Bottle from BOTW. Golden color, hazy, with lace. Lemony nose, grains, wheat? Citrus. Sweet and biscuity, peppery, full. Nice stuff, very drinkable.

Bottle - light hazy gold - fluffy, significant head, that shrinks to a moderate lace - nose is a bit odd - moderately skunky, with some creamed corn character, but also with some pleasant minerality, lemon peel, candied orange, hay - creamy carbonation in the mouth - sweet citrus up front, followed by some tangy lemon peel, grassy hops, white pepper, moderate flinty mineral - actually tastes quite good, but the nose is messy.

Pours light gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Earthy yeast and lemon aromas. Crisp with sweet biscuit and bread upfront turning to citrus and pepper in the dry, lasting finish.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is lemon grass and fruity esters. Flavor is a nice citrus lemon and pepper with a decent dry pils malt and citrus fruitiness. Finish is dry and leaves some of the lemon grass on the tongue. Solid saison.

Draft @ Amesbury Ale House. Aroma is Ommegang house yeast, lemons and hay. Big house yeast upfront that leads to a light spicy profile with fresh cut grass, and malty bread notes. Somewhat sweet, fairly tart and fairly bitter. Light bodied, rather oily texture, slick feeling. Effervescent mouthfeel with a crisp fresh feeling. Pretty nice brew.
