Bottle. Lots of bitterness, IPA like. Aroma is resin hops, grapefruit, light tropical fruit. Taste is good, full on, after initial bitterness goes turns a bit more lemony. Grainy too, but more fruit than wheat. Good stuff. Surprising!

Tap. Sprizty, creamy, and zesty. This is a very nice wheat beer with IPA hopping. Super refreshing with lots of lemon and some orange, creamy wheat, and a tingly, peppery finish. Loved it.

The African Weizen pours a fairly cloudy deep gold with a filmy white head. The malty citrus aroma doesn’t really make me think of weizens. The body is medium & smooth with a slightly rough mouthfeel. The taste is mostly citrus hops with any weizen character struggling to get through. Interesting but to me this experiment failed too much hops not enough weizen, tasty though. Looking at this again I am guessing it is less of a weizen and more of a wheat ale in which case it is a touch more successfull. Alright.
