Cloudy gold with a small white head. Dirty grains. Honey sweetness and a light bitterness. Not great.

Tap on the Island itself. Not much aroma, bit wheaty, light grassy hoppiness. Taste is decently crisp, little sweetness, light hops. Alright.

At a tasting, thanks, small head, very cloudy gold color, aeoma of, corn, wood and wort, woody, yeasty flavor with a fruity hint, strange strong sourness. Really bad.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks mom for this bottle! Cloudy yellow with a white head. Mildly sourish aroma with wort, huskiness, yeast, bread, corn and some fruity notes. Sweetish flavor with wort and yeast, fruity, estery, a bit sourish, with a mildly bitterish finish. Rather light-bodied. Quite drinkable, but nothing like a Pilsener. A bit like a cheap Hefeweizen.

On tap at the Kyoto Beer Festa 2014. A fairly solid pils with no major off-flavors whatsoever but nothing to really elevate it to the next level. Solid hoppy aroma with a good malt base, lots of biscuit. A good pils.

Tap at 2014 Kyoto Zest beer festival. Juicy malt nose, biscuit, a tiny bit of diacetyl, Czech style. Deep gold, clear, low head. Sweet and malty flavor, lemon, bread and biscuits. Well done. Could do with a touch more hopping, aroma and bitterness. Full, smooth body with light carbonation. Good start.
