Muscat Berry Cider

Can't remember where this was but it was a while ago. Gar Eden perhaps. Pink golden colour, light pink head. Aroma is muscat, bit creamy, light funkiness. Taste is fruity, like a berry cider, muscat at the finish. Nice.

Pink purple color. Nice clean fresh berry nose with muscat playing in the background. Modestly perfumy and dry. Fairly dry, good carbonation, nice berry character but a bit retrained. Too dry, with modest tannins, that holds back the cider’s potential. Fairly drinkable and nice berry finish. Enjoyable but nothing that special

I am thinking these are ratings for two different ciders(why is this listed as a fruit beer/radler?) I had the Outsider Muscat Berry Cider on tap at Bungalow which sounds like what KyotoLefty had. 4.5% Pouring a fruit punch looking light red with a pink tinged head of foam this cider has a surprisingly musty cork + red wine nose. The staff at Bungalow compared it to Minoh’s Cabernale and I can see that. Light bodied, kind of thin & watery. The taste is not at all sweet, it’s acidic, tart, pungent red wine mustiness, the finish is very dry. Closer to a rose wine than a cider. The taste grows on you but it wasn’t at all what I was expecting.

Tap at Keg Nagoya. Nose is wheat, grapes, sweet wine, and minerals. Color is deep pink to light purple. Thick head. Semi-sweet flavor, grapes, wine, wheat, bread. Pretty decent and wine-like.
