Black beer, thin head. Rich malt, a dash of fruit, some chocolate and caramel in the aroma. Flavour has the same qualities but more subtly, and you have to really let it sit in your mouth to get it because the flavours aren’t that strong. It smells amazing and at first sip I thought it tasted weak but when you really take the time to savour it it starts to work. I’m marking it down slightly for it seeming to require that effort because it should be a deep, rich, amazing beer.

Tasting glass draft @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. Black, little tanned head. Nose is strange, roasted pumpkin pits, low burned sunflower seeds, roasted licorice, artificial chocolate & some thin artificial chocolate flavoring. Body is far too weak to carry it, feels too light empty, strange taste, roasted pumpkin pits, almond milk, cheap chocolate, herbal roast, burned seats, artificial chocolate. Weird, doesn’t entirely appeal to me.

Thick, creamy, sandy coloured head stayed well on a near black still body. Dark chocolate, coffee, iron, bitter aroma. Medium body. Sharp, clean & minimal carbonation. Dry on the aft. Bitter cold coffee, citrus, fruity, & pine with a hoppy aft.

Swietny porter. Dosadny slodko wytrawny. Pelna gama i paleta smakow. Przypominal i imperialnego portera i Stouta zarazem choc to nie ten styl ma sporo cech z tych styli. Poczatkowo jest slodkie melasa z miodem, winne akcenty w stylu porto i sherry, choc niewiele alkoholu jakos mnie rozgrzalo to piwo. Czarne niczym guinnes i dublinskim pubie. Kremowa bezowa piana jest ladna lepi sie do szkla, szkoda ze opada szybko. Jest lekka palonosc i goryczka na zakonczenie. Doskonale zrownowazone piwo. Super polecam do sera koziego maczanego w dzemie pomidorowym.
