Bottle at dB’s. Poors black with medium tan head. Hoppy nose. Big sweet deep roasted malts, marijuana hoppy. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium body, creamy soft feel and big roasty and marijuna finish. Nice hoppy toffee.

33cl bottle from Marks & Spencer, Camberley. A glossy black pour with a thin beige head; fruity aroma with some licorice; tropical fruit taste with a smooth grainy body; giving a peaty licorice taste; and an interesting combination of mango and licorice to finish. An interesting blend of styles.

Bottle from Marks and Sparx in Rickmansworth, Herts. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, berry fruit aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, some chocolate and berry fruit. Very nice porter and available up the road at my local M&S, all good.

Keg at the Euston tap yja ks yo Sarah. Opaque black Bron. Coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is earthy berry and wood, some strawberry jam and pine note. Flavour is composed of semi sweet chocolate malts, jammy fruits pine and maybe some vanilla. Palate is medium full bodied, moderate carbonation, semi creamy. Little lingering smooth earthy coffee roast. Very good.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pour is almost black, with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, hops. Taste roasted malts, dark fruit, dark chocolate, coffee, with a smokey aftertaste, bitterness from the chocolate and hops. Good porter!
