*Rating overgezet 2016* Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een troebel oranje achtig bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het aroma is moutig en hoppig. De smaak is citrusachtig en hoppig met een lekker bittere afdronk.

Medium amber color. Incredibly heady, huge hoppy nose with apple and oranges in the background. This nose is what dry hopped beers should be about. Huge hoppy mouth, tons of citrus notes and apples. Big bad ass hoppiness. Just full on from beginning to end. Massive bitter finish. Love this beer for being the Uber Gangster Hopmonster that I expected to be.

Draft at Beer Run, 12/26/13. Pours a clear copper color with a thin tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of resin, herbal, peppery, green hops, caramel malts. The taste is bitter resin, green, herbal, vegetal hops. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness. Nice beer.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber with a creamy white head. Fruity citrus aroma. Med + body. Flavor starts sweet stone fruit, develops citrus. Goes towards dry fruit. Slight hop burn, but not harshly bitter. Very balanced. Extremely delicious.

Tap at Marciero. Lovely amber color. Big hop nose: tropical fruits, some citrus, a bit of caramel. Sweet and hoppy, very nice fruits, not all that bitter. Crisp and fresh. Very tasty.

On tap at Belmont Station's Bier Cafe, pours a clear pale golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of dry piney hops, with a little citrus and floral hops. Flavour brings out pungent dry piney hops that coat the palate in hoppy goodness, with a bit of citrus and floral notes. Just enough malt backing. Much hoppier and dryer than the already great West Coast IPA - a bit more interesting. Excellent stuff.

On draught at Harry’s Hofbrau. Massive fresh fruit aroma - citrus, topical and grapefruit. Pours a clear sunset bronzed orange with very light tan head that lingers. Taste is overt fruit, strong bready malt backbone and yeast supporting a slight alcohol warmth. Moderate high bitterness is not overpowering and balances the beer nicely. Excellent.
