Tap at Ichi-Ya. A ruby brown with a thick beige head and a bit of an underpour. Big malty aroma featuring stone fruit and cherries. Fairly full bodied with a sweet phenolic berry flavor, some spice but mostly cherry syrup. Overall a respectable take on a double, a tad too sweet fore but it’s full and satisfying though needs a little more complexity. Solid.

light brown color, very chocolate, molasses and prunes. Med light body. A touch sweet and rounded. A bit of of balance, but not bad

Draft - Plums and raisin on the nose. Clear mahogany with a thin head. Plum, raisin and brown sugar. No sense of alcohol and a clean finish. Not bad.

Tap at 1020. Deep, fruity nose, raisin, fresh plum, licorice. Deep, fruity flavor, tangy, light orange, fudge, caramel. A bit of unwanted Sprite in there as well. Bitter finish. A decent dubbel.
