Bottle 650ml @ Bakgården Både &, Kristiansand
Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, citrus and pine. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, bitter, slightly dry, piney and citrus finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 22oz. At Både &. Vintage 2015. A hazy golden beer with a small off-white head. Piney, resiny aroma indicating a dry, bitter mouthful. Not much malts in the aroma, nor in the flavor. Rather bitter, lightly warming and dry on the palate, full bodied and nicely carbonated, with flavors of piney and resiny hops. Some pale malt notes in the far back of the swallow. A delicious beer indeed. 150821

Bottle, 2015 perfect storm, picked up at Albertsons grocery... so cool to find great beer on the corner store shelves. Pours a deep caramel color, a little hazy, and topped with a monster of a creamy beige head. Nose is mostly floral and pine, light citrus. Faintly sweet. Hop forward taste, lots of pine and floral bitterness. Good citrus flavor and enough of a malty backer that its not over the top. Still potent... very big. Nicely done.

Guest tap handle at Cigar City. (Yes, had everything from the house). Orange gold color with head that vanishes after a few minutes. Aroma is grapefruit, tangerine, and sugary dried apricots. Pretty good malt bill to back up the hops but no fooling here, its heavy on bitterness. Lingering grapefruit and pine, deep bitterness. Almost on the harsh side. Has an oily/ hop oil texture. Bold.

Good double IPA. Normal orange/copper color, small foamy off white head. Funky, musty hop aroma. Taste is barley, caramel, and hops. It almost comes together though, not quite a perfect storm....bumped this up for a re-rate on 2015 version

22Oz Bottle at Bier:Thirty, Boise as part of their Oskar Blues tap takeover. Hazy apricot pour with a thin ring. Fruity sweet malt aroma. LIght bodied and lacking real big hop flavor. Not much fresh hop flavor. Just OK. Was expecting a bit more from Oakshire

At a tasting at KyotoLefty’s place. A dark amber pour with citrus & caramel and a medium body. Nice stuff.

Botle. Deep orange, lace. Tropical fruits, citrus, nice edge. Swet and fruity, lots ofmorange, a bit one-dimesnsional, but nice. A bit boozy. Tasty.
