Keyaki. Very darkl brown, creamy golden head. Aroma is slightly smoky, lots of roast, pretty good, booze. Taste is good, coffee, some sweetness, bit of soy sauce savouriness. Some cocoa too which builds a little bit. Cola kubes. Nice finish. Easy drinking for an imp. stout.

Dark Brown color. Sweet sugar cane, dark chocolate, dark fruit, fairly complex nose, but not overly sweet. The mouth is moderately sweet, brown sugar, dark chocolate notes. Heavy, somewhat boozy. Lingering brown sugar and chocolate finish

Pint at Bungalow. Pretty brown head on black. roasty nose, coffee, brown sugar, wood, umami. Quite sweet, a bit fruity, like a sugared cafe au lait. Roasty finish. Rather crisp palate. Not too heavy or cloying despite the sweetness. Good.

8.5% On tap at the Ibaraki Bakuon fest 2013. A dark brown almost black beer with a thick beige head. Chocolate but a bit lactic aroma. A thick full but oily mouthfeel. A boozy taste followed by a nice coffee bitterness that is well balanced by enough sweetness. Quite good.
