Bottle from the brewery. The one with the green label. Slightly darker than the pale, bit murky, golden amber colour, small golden head. Aroma is quite full on hoppiness, citrus, slightly chemical, grapefruit and bit of caramel. Taste is nice and bitter, grapefruit again, bit of spiky malt. Finish is solid bitterness. Pretty good, but I preferred the Pale.

Yorocco Beer IPA 6% Bottle. An opaque orange-red (auburn?) color with a nice orange citrus hop bouquet but possibly also a touch of earthy skunkiness. Medium bodied and fairly sweet with a prickly pine and orange rind flavor. I’m enjoying the chewy malt character in the body and the balance of this beer. Quite good, I’m keen to see what they bring down for us at their Kansai launch at Tadg’s on April 9th!

6.2% abv IPA batch kegged 2 days before according to brewer. Deep orange to light copper with a big soapy head that lasts throughout. Citrus, grapefruit, catpiss and weed on the nose with a touch of Belgian funk. Good carbonation and solid bitterness. Extremely easy drinking. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 20 Sep 2015 at 14:39 - Score: 8. Original review text: 6.2% abv version

dark amber color. Very smooth. Nice malty backbone. Tried this against several other IPAs at a beer fest and this was second highest favorite.

Rerate. Up to 6% from 5. Nice hop nose, lots of grapefruit, tropical fruit, huge citrus. Touch of caramel and chocolate. Cloudy orange-brown with a low head. Great fruit flavors, citrus, tropical, and stone. Malt comes out as chocolate and a bit of caramel, plus biscuits. Great balance. Big flavor. Light in body, crisp. clean bitterness in the finish, and dry as well. Damn good beer. Not the Skywalker, but much better than 3 years ago (as expected!). Bottle, gift from Chuwy. March, 2013: 6/3/7/3/14. Fragrant hop and caramel nose, light chocolate too. Nice citrus, grapefruit. Lots of caramel. Medium-dark brown, cloudy; low head. Chocolaty, caramel flavor, lots of rich malt, with grassy, citrus, American hops. Very much malt centered, and really more of a PA than an IPA, but big bitter finish, and very good for such a new, small brewery. No off flavors. Good start for these guys. Enjoyable stuff.
