Tap at CBM Awajicho. Amber coloured, creamy golden head. Aroma is very British, bit of stink, sweet maltiness. Taste is similar. Light hoppiness, more sweet malt. Unfortunately for me as I don't really like them, they have nailed the UK golden ale. Soft in the mouth with low carb. It's not horrible, I just should have known before I ordered it.

5% on tap at Bungalow, 600 yen for 10oz. Made with fresh Cascade Hops. A lovely amber pour with an off-white head. It smells mildly dank with hints of citrus. The taste is sweet caramel malts, medium bodied with just a touch of citrusy hops in the finish. Definitely a malt forward beer. As it warms up the hops step up & it becomes more balanced, pretty good.

hazy golden, color, diacytle, clovey, bananas, really unbalanced and tasted infected. Refreshing I will give it that, but overall a real disappointment.

Draught at Tadg’s. Cloudy gold, muddy. Estery nose, with citrus, grapefruit, honey, orange. Estery flavor, peach, some diacetyl, wheat it seems, some hops. Refreshing but rough. I can’t tell what it is supposed to be aiming at. Not very harvest feeling either.
