Infused with Coeur de Lion Selection - Christian Drouin. Lively aroma of fresh-cut apple. Light, with hints of lemon and steel. Finishes with flavour of apple seeds and crushed peppercorns.
We put the Calvados in a large barrel and add American roasted and toasted oak flakes. After 3 weeks this mixture is ready to be added to the beer in the bright beer tank. This way we obtain a maximum performance of the used liquor strengthened with the taste of the used oak flakes to enrich our beer.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy light amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of flowers, fruit, and yeast, with touches of malt. Bitter flavour of hops, with notes of barrel, alcohol and flowers, and touches of fruit. Bitter aftertaste with touches of yeast and barrel, and notes of malt. Warming alcohol presence. Decent.

Bottle, 8.5%. Brett aroma. Cloudy copper colour. Big stable rocky white head. The flavour is less Bretty than the aroma. More caramelly with a bitter touch. The Brett comes back in the finish. Creamy mouthfeel with a lively carbonation. The Calvados is quite subdued, but there is a caramelly and pungent note even though it is faint.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is ripe fruits with sugary apricot, malt, orange, light apple/calvados, yeast, and touch of caramel. Flavour is sweet and a little boozy, light bitter, body is above medium. Fairly pleasant with plenty of ripe/almost dried (stone) fruits.

Smell-weak, malt, faint spice, bit herbal, smoke, somewhat nice. Foam-thin, malt, weak hops, weak caramel, weak roast. Head is large, and white. Sticks. Appearance- generic bottle cap, simple label.Bit cloudy orange amber, weak to medium carbonation. From- snifter Price- 3.49 for 0.33ml Taste- malt, faint caramel, weak bitter tones, hops, some spice. Interesting, alcohol is not initially noticeable but creeps up after time. Overall somewhat pleasant experience.

33cl bottle (BBF: 2023) from Carrefour market @ in Tervuren near Brussels. F: big, egg-white, good retention. C: gold, hazy. A: malty, mellow fruity, banana, spicy, clove, calvados touch, honey, floral, woody touch. T: full malty base, banana, honey, spicy, bit calvados, peach, woody chips, caramel, boozy, medium carbonation, not very complex yet not bad, enjoyed.
