Thanks to awaisanen for this! Pours with a creamy off-white head that lingers over a medium orange body. Toasted malt accented with some flowerly light hops are shared in the aroma with some earthy, honey notes. The flavor is balanced nicely between the light malt and hop bitternessand the sweet malt dominates at the finish. Easy drinking Pale.

Cask. Might actually be a different beer, full naming was "Briess Sponsored Full Sail Pale" Golden, no head. Very hoppy, hopbail nose, ginger; Liqueurish quality with rather little hopflavour left but balance seems righted. Served way too cold, hence nearly aggressive burning MF. Rather good, surprising hoppy onset, gettin lost in the way.

Clean balance between hops and malts. The aroma leaned toward the malts, but the taste was of hops with an undercurrent of sweet malts. Dry and crisp mouthfeel from this medium-bodied, light amber brew. Soft bitter aftertaste.

Bottle Pours a clear light amber with a full off white head. Aromas of sweet, light grain, honey and malt. Not much hops. Flavor is mild, light malts and a well balanced hop profile. Feel is quite smooth and rich and goes down easy. Leaves a fairly bitter taste after and the carbonation is moderate. Tasty.

Golden colour with a thin white head. Subtle hop aroma mixed with a bit of malt. Bitter hops in the aroma. Light-bodied; Strong metallic twang with a bit of citrus (grapefruit) and a subtle taste of hops. Aftertaste very bittering from the offensive tastes of metal and stale hops. Palate filled with some malt and very minimal hops. Not a great APA, I was expecting much more from this one, but Full Sail wasn't up for it! This one is not recommended, there are much better APA's available from the Northwest! I bought my 12 ounce bottle from Liqour Mart in Boulder, Colorado.

From a bottle, 2010: Peppery and herbal hop nose. Woody and earthy notes too. Buttered scone malts. Kinda weird, not loving it. GABF 2002: Bright copper color. Rich citric resiny aroma. Nice and clean hoppy flavor. Med bitter finish. Good.
