This is a solid session pale ale. Light hop aroma. Very well carbonated. Flavor is lightly bitter with hops and has lots of dough and bread flavor from sweet malt. Some strange chemicals in the aftertaste.

Beautiful amber color; generous head; nice lace. Aroma of hops and white sugars. Ordinary malt and caramel flavor, ordinary bitterness. Simple.

Bottle; Nose has some caramel with a bit of hops; light amber with a small off-white head; Flavor from the thin body is caramel with some citrus hops and a small, mildly bitter hop finish.

Bottle: Pours a golden/copper color with a frothy head. Aroma is mild with floral hops, taste is a medium intensity APA with more malts to overtake the floral and citrus hops. Too muted of a taste is my consensus, watery by taste and not by feel.

On tap at Pilsner Room, Portland. Copper with lasting beige head. Hop is subtle on aroma. In fact all the flavours are quite subtle. Not dull, just has not got a lot. Some malt, touch of caramel, some hop. Fine if not exciting.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is vegetables and hops. Flavour the same. Very watery and boring.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 30 Sep) Golden amber colour with off-white head. Fruity nose with hoppy notes of citrus (mainly grapefruit). Fruity taste with grapefruit and pine needles. A bit one-dimensional, dominated by the citrussy hops. Nice taste, but wouldn’t suffer from a firmer backbone to support it.

Bottled. Pale amber color, small white head. Malty, bready, very yeasty aroma. Pale malty flavor, bready-yeasty aftertaste. Light, boring, butterscotchy.

A standard APA, but a good one - the hops come across as a little stale, but still somewhat crisp - a hint of malt sweetness - great warm weather ale. (I have been drinking quite a bit of this lately, and I have grown to quite like it - it is nice and dry, with a crispness the reminds me almost of a saison - I would love to see this brewed with a belgian yeast strain.)
