DIFFERENCE FROM ORIGINAL RECIPE:
To balance these aggressive hop profiles we’ve switched to English specialty malts, which produce a lighter hue and replace the caramel notes with a very slight toast. These changes will bump the ABV from 5.2% to 5.9%, maintaining Point the Way's low-ABV status while optimizing hop flavor and complexity.

Pour is a bright hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is plenty of tropical fruit hoppyness. Flavor is more a dank resin hop with maybe a little pine. I wish the flavor would of had more of the tropical fruit I got in the aroma. Still this is pretty solid IPA.

LAX can: Pours copper with a nice head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, and resin. Taste is what you would expect from a west coast IPA that is not overly aggressive, but is also not afraid to show its hoppy side. Nice body. Easy to drink. No complaints.

Can shared at chriso’s - thanks to Ethereal. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. Pale bread in the nose, some pine, honey, hay. Medium sweet flavor with oily hops, pine, white bread, light bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mild resins to finish, further dry pale bread, pine needles. Very decent.

Can thanks to Caspar. It pours golden with a small white head. The nose is orange, mango, sherbet, lychee, grainy and sticky tropical fruits. The taste is bitter-sweet, grapefruit peel, lemon sherbet, pithy, resin and pine needles with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Crisp, bitter and pretty drinkable.

Purchased at a Vonn’s in Los Angeles, CA; enjoyed after walking around Culver City. Meh, not very good, their Weiss is better.
