Got my 12-pack in, yum. Otaru Helles Gold with a thick dollop of foam with a soft, semi-sweet aroma with some peppery noble hop notes. Medium to full bodied with a sort of slick mouthfeel and good flavor of bready malts and soft spice with herbal hops. Rich and enjoyable.

Tap at the brewery. Nice, wheaty, aroma has touch of lemon, grainy. Taste is good, crisp, little bit of sweetness, grassy. Very easy drinking.

Bottled. 100% organic. Soft malt nose with peppery, citrus hops. Very gentle and subtle, and wonderful. Clean. The real think. Deep, bright golden color with a huge, fine, pillowy head and a constant stream of bubbles. Rich and bready malt flavor, great hop background: subtle as they must be, yet clean and tasty, with good citrus and pepper. A bit chalky. Lig but full mou, nice carbonation. Is is a great helles. I would love to have this on tap side ny side with their pils. Maybe next year!
