Amber/copper colour, small gold head. Aroma lots of malt, bit spicy, touch of grassy hops. Taste is quite bitter, malty again, gingerbread with little bit of citrus.

Draft at Beer Fest 2014 Yokohama. Clear amber with a medium head. Toffee and caramel notes with a hint of hops present. Some raisin and orange as well. Malt forward and sweet on the palate with a dry finish. Kind of uninspiring and mouthfeel is like a lager.

At Brimmer Box as part of their tasting set. It is slightly darker than their Golden Ale. It has a maltier body, more hoppy aroma and taste. I think it is a great pale ale for someone new to craft beer. More of a gateway beer than one for a someone who already drinks lots of craft. The nicest of the 3 beers I tried in my taster set. Brimmer reminds me of Rokko in Kobe, possibly playing it safe for Japanese palates but their beers were more consistent than Rokko’s. All 3 were quite drinkable just light on flavor for the style.

med amber color. Very clean hoppy mouth with notes of apricot. Moderate bitterness at the end. Extremely drinkable. Well balanced. Soft and lovely. Should be drank at Brimmer Beer Box

Draught at Tadg’s. Deep copper color. Somewhat faint, grassy nose, pepper, minerals, earthy caramel. Nice bitterness in the mouth, good grassy hops, earthy, light citrus. Solid malt, bready but not too much caramel. Orange, pepper, big bitter finish. Light, crisp, good body. A bit simple, but perfectly crafted, with great balance and drinkability.
