Keg at Ushi-Tora. Clear orange/amber colour with not much head, just small white bubbles round the edge. Aroma is wheaty, bit of vegetable, tomato juice. Taste is dry and wheaty, some banana bit of cream. Very flat in the mouth. Towards the end, some spice and strawberry come through. Nice but a bit strange.

Tap @ iBREW Shinbashi. Pours dark orange, hazy. Thick head at first but does not stay for too long. Nose is quite yeasty, some plums and apple povidlo, bit of marmalade. taste is also medium heavy, yeasty again, banana and cloves, somewhat Belgian or weizen character (checked it - that's what it is supposed to have, this beer is fermented with weizen yeast). Taste has lots of fruits, not that great balance overall, was expecting a bit more from this but OK as an experiment I guess. Drinkable.

Maria 6% a clear honey gold with a very thin filmy head with staying power. A nice spicy malty aroma reminiscent of a saison. Very round carbonation with a smooth mouthfeel. Cloves, spice a bit of saison funk which was nicely counter-balanced by malts. Halfway between a saison and a weizen. Great stuff.

Draught at Tadgβs. Medium copper with a fine, low head. Weizen nose with banana, clove, apples. Sweet fruit and spice flavor, lots of banana. Soft carbonations, with a light tang and some pepper. Interesting but a bit too sweet.
