Green bottle pours out a clear crisp golden topped with a small white head. Nose is skunk at first then cereal malts and some fresh cut grass. Taste very thin and watery a little grain along with some soap.

Bottle from Yodobashi Camera in Kyoto for maybe about 400 yen? I drank it straight from the bottle so I am not too sure about it’s appearance. It had a Grolsch like somewhat skunky aroma which could be due to the green bottle (judging by the picture I guess they switched from a brown one?). I think it is a decent enough pilsner, ok malt profile with a bitter hop finish. Nothing special really but it was enjoyable on a hot day sitting outside by Higashi-Honganji. Judging from the comments, it is possible that pouring this into a glass allows the not so pleasant aroma to come to the fore. I drank it from the bottle & it was alright.

Bottle. Pale golden with a tall head. Malty, grainy aroma with grass, some corn, very light hops. DMS infection? Corn, grain, light hopping with a touch of citrus and a bit of bitterness. Somewhat fizzy. Not very good at all. Was better in the past. This is a drain pour. They shouldn’t bother.
