BIAB sample from the 29th Sussex Beer & Cider Festival Brighton at 6.5%, courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers Graham! Pale golden colour, no head and aroma of tart, woody pear flesh, with soured hints. Taste is syrupy and sour, pear, fleshy, solventy hints with almost gerkin-like notes, along with some biscuit & wet cardboard. Slick, oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, sour woody finish with alittle lingering biscuit. OK.

22/3/2019. From bag in a box at the 29th Sussex Beer & Cider Festival, Brighton. 6.5% abv. Pours clear very pale yellow gold with minimal white head. Aroma of pears, apple juice, caramel and wood. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, moderate sour. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Woody, semi-tart finish. Nicely drinkable.
