A glorious chestnut beer with simple roasted malt notes. Gentle floral and gathering bitterness derived from a blend of English hops. Crisp, sherbet bitterness, sweet malty finish.

Bottle at Tap Room Cliftonville. A very English bitter. Clear brown amber colour lasting beige head. Some milk chocolate. OK English bitter. Some hedgerow hops. Some English malt sweetness. Sharp. OK.

On cask. Clear amber body, creamy white head. Aroma of toast, roasted malts, floral hops, minimal butter and some caramel. Taste is like the aroma, only that it’s not that restrained. Creamy and smooth with no carbonation. Very nice.
