Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso l'orzo tostato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella norma. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di caramello, miele, cracker, frutta secca, agrumi, arancia e frutta passita.

Can from local convenience store in St Julians.
Appearance - lovely deep amber to autumnal red. Creamy white head.
Nose - red apple, toffee and cake.
Taste - toffee apple and strawberry jam. Cake again.
Palate - medium bodied at least, rich and sweet.
Overall - good.

Karmelowe, trochę palone, melanoidynowe, kwiatowe, ciut ziemiste. Barwa miedziana, piana redukuje się do krążka, delikatny lacing. Goryczka zaznaczona, palono-ziemista. Ogólnie typowo słodowe piwo, alkohol niewyczuwalny. Ogólnie jest ok.

Malta. Double red, ale coz z czerwonej barwy nic, a nic jest tylko ciemne zloto lub jasny bursztyn. Piana niewielka, slodkie, alkoholowe, bardziej jak strong lager niz strong ale po brytyjsku. Ale fajnie nowy kapselek z Malty doszedl

Canned 440ml. -Unclear amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, malty caramel nose. Sweet malty, caramel, light nutty and touch of green apple in the finish.

Zufällig habe ich in der Josefstadt in Wien ein maltesisches Lokal gefunden, welche in einem Bierkühlschrank diverse maltesische Biere und Limonaden feilbietet. Dieses rote 🔴 Starkbier probierte ich als erstes. Allerdings war es derartig spritig-alkoholisch 🍸👻, dass von anderen Aromen keine Rede mehr war. Es schmeckte einfach nach verdünnten Likör ohne viel Freude zu bringen.
