Thinking of the worst nightmare of a beer hunter to try it, a 88 or Galesburg story of the Swiss punk guy but this one was acceptable, boozy, smooth, malty with a generous note of toffee at the final, classical hop, 07.11.20, from one coop, at home.

Can 50 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a small yet creamy off-white head. Aroma of brewing syrup, faint maltiness. Rich, sweet malty body with corn and sugary starch notes. Subdued bitterness. 120325

Imperial pilsner? No, this is a strong lager. 500 ml can from Coop in Zurich, Switzerland. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a large white head and excellent retention. Great lacing too. Standard pale lager aroma with maybe a hint of booze. Standard pale malt flavor too, with some light, sweet corn in the background. Medium body with a slightly slick mouthfeel. Lower than expected, soft carbonation. Not bitter. Nothing exciting, just a basic smooth and clean lager. And the 7.0% ABV is nearly invisible. Definitely about average for the style.

Buechsli: Golden, not completely clear, small and stable creamy head, mild sweetish-grainy and a bit corny nose, more metallic traces than traces of bitterness; moderate sweet and mildly bitter flavour, quite light bodied for a beer of 7.0%, but fortunately a bit sticky; short sweet grainy finish with mild bitter and metallic traces. lattina 50 cl, schiuma bianca media grana evanescente, colore oro limpido, al naso malto e alcool, carbonatazione moderata, in bocca malto e miele, watery, corpo medio, discreto amaro con l'alcool che emerge nel finale. Nauseante. La peggiore delle Feldschlösschen 13.10.17
