Gold colour. Thick head. Slow carbonation. Looks pretty good for the style, really. There's definitely the grainy-alcohol-fusel thing on the nose, but the pale malt/graininess is the most prominent aspect, which is positive. On the palate, it's got that industrial sourness thing going on, a little pale malt, but then a big alcohol/grainy finish to remind you that you're drinking a malt liquor (not an imperial pilsner, LOL, but I won't change it over the Danish admin). Full body. Not actually that bad. We're more of a tweaker neighbourhood than a drunk neighbourhood, but I'm sure the local drunks do like this one as it has a solid alcohol/$ ratio and does not taste objectionable.

Historical ticks. On honeymoon in Sorento I was buying whatever wasn't a pale lager.

Can, 0.5l. Clear golden pour, two finger frothy white head, short lasting. Ok lacing on the glass. Sweet malty nose, grainy, slight fruity apple notes. Thin to medium body, medium carbonation. Average mouthfeel, solid texture, not too watery but a bit lighter then expected, which is not necessarily a bad thing - quite drinkable. Bittersweet taste, actually more on the bitter side. Again, not a bad thing, so far my experiences with imperial pilsners were cloying sweetness due to higher alcohol content. So, not bad really. Aroma is a bit plain, malt, grains, apples, mild alcohol. Grains and grass. Mild lingering bitterness on the tongue, dry mouthfeel. Some metal notes in the aftertaste. Overall, decent for the price and quite drinkable for the ABV. Ok.

F: huge, white, average lasting. C: yellow, clear. A: malt, some sweetness, hint of hops. T: malt, some corny sweetness, some like fruitiness but quite strange, light to medium body, very thin taste for such strong beer, good carbonated, 0,5l can from Carrefour in Guadeloupe, not good overall, one of the worst strong beer I have ever drunk.

Poured from 500mL can. Pale clear yellow with minimal white head. Banana aroma on the pour, mild corn and yeast nose. Mild flavour of corn and yeast, with some alcohol flavour. Nice body for a lager, not watery.

The Beer Store 500ml ($2ish): Pours a bubbly orange color with a weak head. Aroma is tolerable for a Malt Liquor. Not too much stank. I was expecting the worst from the taste, but fortunately got a beer that was strong without having the taste of alcohol. I even tasted hops in this. Sugar and corn was not the only thing keeping this beer drinkable. Alas, it drank well for a malt liquor (and I know they call this a strong pale lager, but I think we all know what it really is). Not so bad.

Can sample at a tasting. Thanks zvikar. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of alcohol, burnt rubber, light fruitiness, grandma and grandpa. Sweet flavor with a bit of honey, some graininess and a drier finish with grassy hints and a bit of alcohol. Light to medium-bodied.
