RBESG pt 18. Moncada. Grand Tasting. Hazy gold beer, no real head. Strong peaty nose. Light dry palate. Little lemon acid and dry seltzer. More TCP. Light dry finish. As messy as it sounds.

Bottle shared during the RBESG 2014 London Grand Tasting - Moncada Brewery. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a creamy white head. The nose is grass, peat and pale bread. Light to medium sweet flavor with moderate grassy hops, some tangy lemon. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly drying to finish with further grassy bitterness, sturdy peat, more citrusy tang. Novel and well brought together.

Bottle at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. It pours lightly hazy with a small white head. The nose is spicy, grainy, wood, medicinal notes and plenty of smokey peat. The taste is bitter, tart, earthy, must, white grape, gooseberry, spice, medicinal, peat, wood and green apple with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Very interesting indeed. As a lover of peated whisky and lambiek it was always gonna win for me!

Bottle - Peaty, woody and tart. Cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Peaty, sour and you ask why? Because it is AWESOME. Crazy contradictory and fun.p

0,75 l bottle from kappldav123. Big big thank you! Unclear yellow in the glass. Small head. It smells ... strange. First lambic sourness, then more a burned flavor. Taste: Starts with a geuze sourness, then burned chicken toast, rhubarb at the end. Thinner ending. Interesting but not a easy drinking beer. And not for everybody. Me enclosed.

Bottled, thanks koelschtrinker! Hazy golden, small head. Tart gunpowder aroma. Dryish, medium body, rounded mouthfeel. Citric sour, concentrated flavours. Peaty with gunpowder and lemon. Weird.

Sampled from bottle thanks to Kermis. Hazy pale yellow color, virtually no head. Smell and taste sourness, slightly some smoke and peat. Quite smooth and balanced though.

Bottle shared thanks to Uli. Pours hazy golden with no head. Aroma is light funky and barnyard with citrus and of course, the peat. Flavour is light sweet and moderate acidic, with the palate beginning on the lambic aspects and going into a peaty yet acidic finish. Medium bodied with light carbonation. An interesting, weird experiment.
