First spotted on Lake Windermere in the early 1900's the Tizzie Wizzie is said to have the body of a hedgehog, the tail of a squirrel and a pair of bee-like wings. This light well balanced ale with its fresh citrus aroma and spicy undertones make for a beast of a beer.

Cask at Bree Louise. Amber coloured, very clear, no head at all. Aroma is sweet and grainy. Lots of sugar. Taste is similar, sweet, cereal. Not very exciting.

Cask at the Plough & Harrow (JDW), Hammersmith. Amber with a dense cream head; grainy aroma; smooth, with a sour grain flavour with some orange fruit; and a lightly refreshing bitterness to finish.
