500mL bottle, pours a dark orangey brown with a medium beige head. Aroma smells really yeasty and earthy, with earthy hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with a hugely earthy hop component and lots of dirty yeast. Doesn't seem fully developed or maybe I've got an older bottle (no discernible bottling date). Not bad, but not as good as the ratings suggest.

On tap at Brew on Quay, Auckland, August 2014. Clear copper with a small head. On the sweet side with caramel, fruit and light hops. An ok one.

Looks like a red ale, plum-like. Velvety aroma, very fruity and sweet. Fresh. First sip feels extremely resiny, all throughout. High in hops and has some kind of sour note in the finish. Nicely balanced body. Easygoing and easily drinkable IPA. Very enjoyable.

Deep amber color. Very sharp piney nose with grapefruit and candided apples with a hint of caramel. The mouth is medium but lacks a bit of balance. Needs a bit more malt. Moderately aggressive finish.

From a 500ml bottle on 25/9/2013. Pours a slightly cloudy reddy amber with a medium head which dissipates quickly. The aroma features lots of fruity hops and heaps of toffee. The flavour is quite unusual with caramel and toffee malt, sweet dark and citrus fruit, some nuttiness, a bit of honey, and a firm bitterness with a bit of grapefruit in the mix. The body is quite full, with the texture quite slick, and the carbonation moderate. I wasn’t entirely convinced by this at the start, but it won me over by the finish. Very nice stuff.

Red-amber, floral, light citrus, light rambutan, and some chewy malt. Earthy, chewy aroma w very light top notes, like cantaloupe and rambutan.
