Tap at DC Hama. Pours a deep copper with a finger of head that lingers thoughout. Big piney, resinous notes with good ruby red grapefruit aromas. Average body with medium carbonation. Grapefruit and piney bitterness on the palate. Good bitter finish, but balanced well with the malt sweetness. Draft at DC Hamamatsucho. This Amber IPA was copper colored with a resinous pine aroma. The flavor was quite malty with honey, tobacco, biscuit and a sweet hoppiness. Nice.
