Vařit s Yankee&Kraut; rozhodně znamená vytvořit nový styl, a tady ho máte. Trochu Imperial Milk Stout, trochu Double IPA, a trochu něco úplně jiného, každopádně s pořádnou náloží chmelů z USA, Německa a Nového Zélandu.

Bottle at Illegal Beer Bar, Praha, 13/07/17. Black with a well appointed tan head. Nose is light roast, chocolate, toffee, spice, brown bread, dusty hops. Taste comprises dark malts, sweet base, liquorice, light pine strokes, charr, chocolate melt. Medium bodied with bite, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness allied to a rising boost. Decent boozey CDA.

Thanks Toto! Dark brown body. Aroma... coffee, light acetic touch, malty. Sweet malty taste, light bitterness, light coffee, light yeastiness. This really didn’t impress me in this shape and form I’m afraid.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Chocolately, dark malty and hoppy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, hints of mocha, pine needles, minimally leafy, fruity notes of bramble, hints of blueberry, a touch of plum. Taste is moderately sweet, chocolately dark malty and fruity hoppy, notes of dark chocolate, some mocha, a touch of couverture, fruity notes of bramble, blueberry and plum, bitter, resinous and piney hoppy amplifying, some honey; long lasting, minimally sticky, almost tacky finish, creamy texture, lively carbonation countervails possible impressions of gravity and siziness. "This beer rocks!" It’s a great one; almost an instant classic Black IPA as has To Øl’s Black Malts & Body Salts been to me.
