Draught @ Beergeek Bar, Prague. Pours black with a small creamy tan head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt, coffee, light chocolate, light nutty, fruity hops, mild citrus. Flavor is light sweet, rather bitter, rich malty, caramel, chocolate, little nutty, citrusy hops. Medium body, light oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, light sweet and light bitter finish. 130417

On tap at Pudel, Tallinn. Close to black with a fair, but modest, beige head. Rather hoppy aroma with some pine and light citrus, roasty notes with some licorice and hints of coffee. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a nice bitterness. Pleas mixture of hoppy and roasty and a fairly long, bitter aftertaste with citrusy notes. Tap at pudel. Pours black with beige head. Aroma is nice roast, sweetness, some oats, lactose like notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, lactose, roast, malt, citrus. Finish is roast bitter. Overall: very good.

Bottled (thanks Kim!). Pretty much black colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, some liquorice, mild toffee as well as some slight raisins and dried fruits. Flavour is quite similar, but has a really big hoppy punch to it in the finish. A bit too hoppy for my taste.

Sampled @ BKL 2017. Fast schwarze 5,mittelgroße beige Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, Kaffee, Vanille. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, Kaffee, Vanille, super.

Tap at Illegal Beer, Prague. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is big grassy hop, zesty citrus, smoky malt. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a rich smooth malty fresh grass nettle hop palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours almost completely black, topped with a sizeable, thick, creamy and very lasting beige head. Some chocolate notes mixed into more notable citrusy hoppy notes. Quite full, creamy body. Medium to moderate bitterness, with lasting aftertaste, also some roastiness in the aftertaste. Quite noticeable and strong alcohol warmth in the finish.
