Vařit s Yankee&Kraut; rozhodně znamená vytvořit nový styl, a tady ho máte. Trochu Imperial Milk Stout, trochu Double IPA, a trochu něco úplně jiného, každopádně s pořádnou náloží chmelů z USA, Německa a Nového Zélandu.

Dark brown from the bottle. A tall, frothy tan head lingers. Aroma is pine, caramel. Taste is sweet up front, full of brown sugar. A sudden note of bitter hops takes over the finish. An overall rather lackluster interplay between the hops on one side and the sweetness of the malts, lactose and sugar. More competition than harmony. Body is medium, quite sticky. Not bad in measured doses.

Lavev (Diky, Ottův prámen!): Almost black with a ruby sheen, quite stable and lacy tanned head; moderate to solid bitter-sweet nose of roasted malt, milk-chocolate and sourish dried fruits, herbal hops well detectable; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, accompanied by a delicate acidity, medium to full bodied, creamy MF; lingering and drier soft herbal-hoppy and chocolatey finish. To je ale radost, Filipe...

Draught at KØ17 as Raven Double Black Cream. Citric hop aroma. Almost black colour. Seems hazy with a red shine. Good creamy tan head. The flavour is vinous with a citric hoppiness. Good balance.
