Tap at Grub. Cherry, fruity, not much else, bit sweet. Strawberry, bit of caramel. Nice enough. Aroma is fruity, light hoppiness. Lacking something for me, but it's alright. --- Beer merged from original tick of Red Cap Red on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Draft pour pint at Frankies pizza. Pours a ruby brown color with a short fizz head. Soft malt aroma. Flavor is some rich caramel malt, and a mild toffee finish. Drinks easy. Good red. UPDATE : Pint at Hop and Hound a few years later. Still a solid Irish red. Smooth taste. A little more of a sweetness than I remember. Cool, refreshing, extremely flavorful.

On Tap at the original Bellingham taphouse. Clear redish amber with a full lasting off white head. Carmel and light toasetd malts. Under hopped for a red I think. Mild and easy...and a little boring. But nothing wrong with it. More like an Amber maybe

Amber-brown, a bit light, touch of biscuit and caramel. A bit of a throwaway beer, like it exists because there’s supposed to be an amber in the lineup.

Draft - Light malts and toffee. Clear amber with a rich white head. Toffee and nice malts with a pleasant sweetness. Nice basic red.

Draught at the brewery
Dark color, mahogany, with red hue. The aroma is a bit dusty. The mouthfeel is soft, off-dry, with caramel flavor, and ordinary bitterness.
Easy.

Sampled on tap at Kulshan tasting room, pours a very dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma and flavour of dry caramel malts, grains and light toasted nuts. Fairly solid amber though nothing special.
