Draft at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens. Poured a vibrant red color with a small pink, foamy head. Aroma was a blast of cherries, some tartness. Cherry skins, light tart, but not really sour character comes through. Lots of sweetness in this one.

Musty, earthy and mushroomy basement in the nose. Sweet and tiny sour taste. Subtle cherries. Heavy cardboard and sou. Bit too old I guess.

375 ml bottle from Merkus Hoher Markt, Vienna.
Dark red body, with a small, frothy, light beige, slightly pink head.
Aroma of sweet cherries, oak, overripe and dried fruits, sweet-sour berries, some leather.
Taste follows this, with a bit more fruity sourness.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes dry, sweet-sour, fruity, wooden, a bit leathery.
Nice one. Pretty straight, with dominant cherries and not so much sourness. Not among my favourite beers of this style though, because it isnβt too complex or diverse, but enjoyable nonetheless.

0,375 l paper-wrapped and corked bottle from drankgigant.nl, bottled in 2014. Clear, deep red with a small, frothy, slowly diminishing, reddish white head. Sweetish, fruity aroma of cherry juice, bitter almond, raspberry, cinnamon and hints of red wine. Sweetish, fruity taste of cherry juice, bitter almond, raspberry, cinnamon and red wine, followed by a sourish, slightly tart finish reminiscent of red wine. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and spritzy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very harmonic and refreshing, maybe a tad too sweet, but not in an artificial way. However, the slight sourness in the finish balances this quite well. Delicious.

From tap. Red color with pinkish head. Aroma is light yeasty - funky, very fruity, lot of (tart) cherries. Taste is light sweet and acidic, tart cherries again. Almost medium oily body with soft to flat carbonation.
