Bottle at Small World. Nice. Interesting rich sweetness with a bit of caramel and chocolate. Nice spiciness in the background. Pleasant.

Dark brown color. Massive cardamom and brownies in the nose. Medium full body with baker’s chocolate and tons of cardamom. Pretty interesting how strong the cardamom. Dry finish. Interesting. I like it.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks Lior D. Black, tan head. Lots of cardamom, coffee, roast, caramel, sweet, spicy, slightly sourish, medium-bodied.

Bottle from Hasegawa Liquors, Tokyo station. This bottle seems to have been aged for a year before the release. Pours dark brown with some brownish beige foam on top. Nose has some green pepper character, lots of cardamon - but that is what the naming is suggesting anyway. What is more interesting is that it feels quite dry and herbal, lightly medicinal, no sweetness there. Taste displays heaps of cardamon as well, still quite well blended into the overall character of the beer, there is some light sweetness, some roast character and very slight booze. This herbal-medicinal character is still strong. Finishes dry, herbal again, medium dry lingering finish with a bit of roast. Pretty good, I believe that this year of ageing has blended flavours together and it definitely feels better than it would have felt a year ago. Pretty good.
