Bizarrely found a rating from my holiday two years ago. No idea where I had it. Probably not even worth adding but... Nice. Very malty, caramel aroma. Taste is similar but with a light hoppy finish. Toffee.

Growler from Albertsons. $6...can’t beat the price. Pours out a copper/orange hue with a small fluffy beige head. So far so good. Initial aroma is toasted malt, brown bread, but soft. Taste is smooth and light, but body is a bit thin. Finishes with a bit of a metallic tinge, tannin perhaps.

On Tap at the River Room, Whole Foods Boise Hazy redish amber witha thin brief light tan head. Mild light toasted malt aroma. Earthy and a bit dank. Sort of an Oktoberfest/Marzen

Draft - Light toast and creamed wheat. Clear dark brown with a small white head. Light toast and nice wheat notes. Nice light and balanced, but still just a wheat.

On tap at APEX. Pours a dark brown color with a medium white head. A big bready nose, some toast and toffee. The flavor is rich berries, caramel, big sweet malts, fairly dry in the finish. Solid beer.

Hoppy dunkleweizen. Aroma is citrusy hop. Flavour has a roasty and sweet malt note among the hop. Well balanced finish.

On tap at Barley Brown’s Baker City. Pours out amber topped with a small white head. Aroma was sweet malts, wheat, and some grass. Taste was much as the nose with some caramel sweetness and grain.

Amber/brown colour. Toasty with light fruitiness on the nose. Toasty on the palate as well, with light chocolate. Balanced. Not especially wheaty, but a good quasi-brown ale.
