On draft at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Pale yellow with a massive head of small bubbles which quickly diminishes to small consistent head. Citrus sour aroma. A bit funky but nice. Taste is grapefruit and a bit of orange and mango. Very fruity. Aftertaste is a bit like cream soda. Soft carbonation, and medium bodied, quite tingly on the tongue. Sourness is quite subtle. Very nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Gueuze - Draft Version 4.8% on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8. Cask @ Borefts 2014. Golden color. Oak, lemon, honey and gooseberries in the aroma. Dry and oaky with lemon and honey in the flavor. Light, but a wonderful geuze.

Sample at District Pourhouse during the Deep Tracks Only Cellar Cleaning event for CCBW on 05/17/2019. Slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Funky fruit, wheat and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of funky citrus, herbal yeast and doughy malt. The finish is funky barnyard and yeast flavors. Good beer all around.

Musty horseblanket, vinegar, malt, and hay aroma. Golden yellow with slight head. Mild sweet-tart lemon, light malt, moderately sour vinegar, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Nice body and balance. A real pleasure.

09-09-17 // taster, draft. At Beavertown Extravaganza 2017, London. Gueuze heaven. Dry grainy lambic sourness. Love this lighter Version as it is even more drinkable, much smoother and softer in taste but still with a unique character.
