330ml bottle. Cloudy red colour with average, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, yellowish off-white head. Fruity aroma has notes of blue grapes, red berries, orange zest, spicy hints of cinnamon, clove, some oak. Taste is sourish, dry hints of fruit parings, a slightly fruity touch, some oak. Sadly the fruity flavours don’t find their way into the taste.

On tap at Beer Temple. Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, oak, amber malts, some Lambic-qualities. Flavour is medium-sour, oak, wood, caramel, berries, tart-bitter finish. OK stuff.

On tap @ Beer Temple during the 2nd Brett fest in A’dam, with joes, caesar, borrestein, TheJvd etc. Red-brown color, hazy. Off white head. Aroma’s: sour, lambic-like, wood. Also a light sweetness and wood tones retronasal. Flavor is moderately sour with a light bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Low carbonation. Not much going on in the finish.

Tap at Maxs. Unfiltered amber-brown. Glass lacing off-white head. Impressive soured oak aroma. Solid Italo-Flemish sour. A touch different in feel, but very sour, quite respectable. Lactic, intense vinegar. Vinous finish. Wow.

Tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, 29/04/13. Hazed dark amber with a mahoosive light beige head. Nose lacks depth, sour/tarte fruits, hint of caramel, soured berries, touch of balsamics. Taste comprises tarte berry fruits, lightly soured strawberries, light sugar, touch funky. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Decent enough sour but there are plenty of better ones out there!

Thanks Cecile for letting me try this one! Anyway, poured a dark red body with an off white head. Creamy full aroma, berry jam. Fresh sourish berry-like taste, creamy, slightly vinuous yet without some huge notes of that, the tannins I guess. Surprisingly good stuff, I’d definitely have it again (and again... and again)...

Bottle, Lotto PMAD04-0611. Pours brown, with a massive, lightly coloured head. Aroma is fruity plums and grapes, with raisins and leather, as well as an almost port-like vanilla sweetness. Flavour is sweet with an acidic touch of plums, blackcurrants and apples, as well as oak and notes of balsamic vinegar, oak and nuts.

Tap @ Black Bottle Fort Collins. Pours a bit hazy reddish appearance with a tan head. Lacto, mild vinegar, cherry, vanilla, fairly oaky aroma. Somewhat juicy, rich tart cherry, a bit acetic, oaky, raspberry, slightly juicy, apricot fruity flavor. Pretty interesting but it doesn’t blow my mind.
