Tap at the Utsunomiya Beer Fest. Creamy, floury, malts and bit of sweetness. Like an extra creamy Pilsner. Nice enough.

On tap at Beer Keyaki Spring 2014. A slightly cloudy gold pour. Grassy straw aroma, a bit of bitterness. Watery body. Taste is malts, graham & cracker. Ok but dull.

Draft to a plastic cup @ Nippon Craft Beer Festival 2014. Pours almost white with a small head, looks watery. Can’t really distinguish much of the aroma here. Taste is somewhat spiky. Sticking out. Watery, some malt background, otherwise pretty light. Somehow it doesn’t feel too pleasant for me - can’t really understand what has been the brewer’s attempt. I am sure there was a plan behind this beer, making it more special - just no idea what it could have been. Dry aftertaste. Something is off with this beer.

Cloudy light golden brown color. Malty nose, yeasty mikan oranges, malty mouth with rich crystal malts, like buscuits dripped in a bit of honey. The beer was a bit hot, but still nice with a warming finish.
