Tap at CBM Sendai. Nice. Like a light hoppy pale ale. Little bit of citrus but malt shines through. Crackers, light bitterness. Quite dry. Very easy drinking. First beer of the session and it really hit the spot.

Medium golden color. The nose is slightly sour but almost non-existent. Light body, more like a Pilsner, not bad. But not great. I thought it was more of a Pilsner, than an Ale, but was listed as 4%. Definitely not very exciting.

Draft at CBM Koenji. Clear gold with a slight hint of orange tint with a nice soapy head. Nose is biscuits and honey, some cracker, and lemon. Taste is biscuit and crackery with the honey lingering in the back. Very well-balanced and refreshing. Crisp finish that leaves a nice dry feeling. --- Beer merged from original tick of American Aroma Ale on 27 Jul 2015 at 21:25 - Score: 7

This summer beer was made in response to the the pils version selling out in less than a week! Clear gold with a filmy white head. The nose is biscuit and fruits. Light bodied, biscuit and fruity flavor - light clean refreshing summer ale.
